  Flip Ray Lake, 44, of Edmore and formerly of Six Lakes, went to be with
the Lord Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus
in Grand Rapids, Mich. Flip was born Dec. 14, 1962 in Ionia to Roy and
Virginia (Miller) Lake.  Flip was preceded in death by his father; a son,
Michael Lake; sisters, Tina Lake and Brenda Lake; brothers, Jerry, Donny
and an infant brother; nephew, Chris Haag. Flip is survived by his mother
and step-father Richard Barnes of Florida; children, Tiffany (Craig)
Wirtz of Ionia, Travis Lake of Edmore, Jennifer Lake of Mississippi,
Kacey Lake, Kyle Lake and Aaron Lake of Indiana and Alison Lake of
Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Hannah Wirtz of Ionia; siblings, Penny
(Jr.) Haag of Edmore, Lorilee Magers of McBride, Darwin Lake of Ionia,
Jimmy Lake of Florida, Scott (Jane) Lake of Palo, Jan (Terry) McDonald
of Florida, Dion (Chuck) Jeffery of Vestaburg, Judy (Herb) Olsen of Ada;
sister-in-law, Bertha Lake of Edmore and many nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.  A memorial service for Flip will be held on Saturday,
Sept. 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Kelsey-Wiley VFW Post 2292 in Edmore
with Louis Mogdis officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the
family for funeral expenses. The family has entrusted arrangements with
