FRANCES C. LAKE

Frances Caroline Lake, 74, Swanton, died Saturday, April 11, 2009,
at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.

Born Nov. 29, 1934, in Shallmar, she was the daughter of the late George
E. and Melissa I. (Spiker) Brady. She was also preceded in death by one
brother, James C. Brady.

She worked for the Ordnance Division of the Department of Army prior
to becoming a stay-at-home mother to her children. She also provided
voluntary services to many of her local community charity organizations.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur E. Lake, Swanton; two children,
daughter Barbara Lake, Swanton, and son Richard Lake, Boonsboro; two
grandchildren, Rebecca Lake, Farmville, Va., and Victoria Lake, College
Park; and two brothers, George Brady and Robert Brady, both of Kitzmiller.

A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
