FRANCES E. LAKE Monticello, N.Y. Frances E. Lake, a teacher, homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Friday, November 15, 2002 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris. She was 86. The daughter of John and Eunice Soules Will, she was born January 7, 1916 in Grooville. She was the widow of Vincent M. Lake, who was a teacher and principal for the Livingston Manor, Argyle and Monticello School Districts. She married Vincent on December 30, 1941. She graduated from the Livingston Manor School and Oneonta Normal School. She was a school teacher in Willowemoc, Liberty, Livingston Manor, and Argyle. She was a member of the First Church of Monticello Presbyterian; and Retired Teachers of Sullivan County Association. Survivors include one daughter, Carol E. Lake of Monticello; one brother, George I. Will and his wife, Rena, of Livingston Manor; one sister, Doris Rudick of Livingston Manor; one aunt, Ruth Soules Germond; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Will of Livingston Manor and Joyce Hoffman of Syracuse; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, John R. Will. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, November 18 at the Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home Inc., 29 Pearl St., Livingston Manor. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 19 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alex McLean officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of Monticello Presbyterian or to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made by the Herbert C.
