  Frances E. Morgan, 62, of Brookeland died March 7, 2001, at her residence.
   Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in 
Jasper with burial at Weeks Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. 
today at the funeral home.
   A native of Bronson and a former resident of Houston, she lived in 
Brookeland 13 years.
   Survivors include her son, Glenn Morgan of Jasper; daughter, Brenda Morgan 
Coomer of Sulphur. LA.; brothers, Prentis Lakey and Robert Earl Lakey, both 
of Newton, Drew Lakey of Wiergate, Paul Lakey of Lufkin and Jimmy Lakey of 
Milam; sisters, Ruby Jewel of Tyler and Maxine Lakey Parsons of Pasadena; and 
three grandchildren.
