Lake 1938 - 2002 ST. CHARLES, MO - Frances Louise (Felsburg) Lake, 64, of St. Charles, Missouri, a former resident of Springfield, died at her home Thursday, November 21, 2002. Her death was unexpected. She was born June 24, 1938 in Springfield, MA, a daughter of John G. Felsburg and Dorothy N. (Brooks) Felsburg. She attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas and Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. She received a Master's degree in Theater Arts. She was currently employed as an administrative assistant. She had resided in almost every state in the union, beginning with Massachusetts and ending in St. Charles, Missouri. She became a central part of every local theater group in every town she resided in: acting, directing and/or building sets. As long as she was a part of the theater, she was home. Her survivors include one son, Clifford A. Lake of Paola, KS; three daughters, Katherine A. Modesitt of Parsons, KS, Cheryl A. Seward of Wichita, KS and Camille A. Livingston of Parsons, KS; two sisters, Carol Geryk and Joan Plancon, both of Southwick, MA; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2002, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons, KS, with Mr. Don Seward officiating.
