The Chronicle Herald Sunday, Jul 3, 2011 Volume 14 Number 26 Halifax NS Canada DAVISON, Frances Louise - 65, of Dartmouth, died on June 29, 2011, in Dartmouth General Hospital, after a long battle with liver disease. Born in Cambridge on April 29, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Clarance Robert Lake and Dorothy Marie Faulker. Frances was devoted to her family and her career as a foster mother. Her career had also covered working in group homes with special needs but her passion for foster care had seen her take care of many, many children over the years. We also can't forget her love for bingo. She is survived by husband, Howard Davison; sons, Howard Jr., Ronnie, Kevin, Myles (Tony and Darrell deceased); daughter, Ronda; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Donnie, Roy, Roland, Percy (Robert, Ronnie, and Bryan all deceased); sisters, Hilda, Joyce, Annie (Patrishia and Joni deceased). Visitation Monday, July 4th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and funeral Tuesday, July 5th at 1 p.m., both in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St., Dartmouth, Percy Lake officiating.
