The Chronicle-Herald, Volume 56, Number 268 Halifax NS Canada Tuesday, November 9, 2004 STARRATT, Frances Mae - 81, Windsor, formerly of Cambridge, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2004, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born March 3, 1923, in Cambridge, she was a daughter of the late Robert Annie (Anthony) Lake. Frances was a member of the Gospel Hall, Cambridge, Hants Co. She enjoyed bird watching, doing puzzles, knitting and being a special friend to the family dog "Honey". Frances had a great love for her family and will be dearly missed by them all. Surviving are daughters, Leona (Ervin) "Skip" O'Brien, Kempt Shore; Lorena (Danny) Blaxland, Cambridge; sons, Philip, Cambridge, Richard (Lisa), Windsor; grandchildren, Avard O'Brien, Alana Davidson, Amanda and Keith Blaxland, Philip, Paul and Evan Starratt, Chipman and Jessica Starratt; stepgrandchildren, Alex and Jessica Gosselin; great-grandchildren, Scott, Kaitlin, Kristen, Sidney, Jessie, Nicole, Dustin, and Keegan; brothers, Walter (Eva), Windsor; Percy, Cambridge; sister-in-law, Mae Lake, Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband, Avard; a sister in infancy; brothers, Clarence, Bob, Bill, Herb and Gilbert. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, funeral service will be held Thursday November 11, at 2 p.m., both in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Highway 215, Summerville, Pastor Percy Lake officiating. Private family committal service in High Head Cemetery, Cambridge, Hants Co.
