Frances Lake Pelton
Frances Lake Pelton, precious mother, grandmother and wife, 83, died
peacefully on Friday, February 5, 1999 at the home of her daughter. Fran was
born May 13, 1915, in Salt Lake City to John Court and Ethel Ball Lake.
Married F. Heber Kimball in 1939, later divorced. Married Benjamin Pelton
May 6, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Survived by her husband, Ben; son,
Court (Sandra) Kimball and daughter, Wendy (Michael) Holloway; stepchildren,
Karen (Dick) Sire, Eric (Beverly) Pelton and Julie Pelton; and her darling
granddaughters, grandsons, great- grandchildren and nephews. Also survived
by her sister, Margaret Fullmer. Preceded in death by a daughter, Frances
Lyn Kimball, a son, Scoff Heber Kimball, and two brothers, John B. Lake and
Court B. Lake. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 1999 at
1 p.m. at Wasatch Presbyterian Church 1626 South 1700 East, Salt Lake City,
Utah. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 a.m., prior to
services. The family requests that contributions be made to the American
Diabetes Association, 340 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 in lieu
of flowers.
