Newark NJ Star-Ledger; 1999-1-14 Fred J. Lake Sr., assembler 40 years Services for Fred J. Lake Sr., 73, of Westampton will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Edward T. Reid Home for Funerals, 585 Belgrove Dr., Kearny. Mr. Lake died Tuesday at home. He was an assembler for the Allied Signal Corp., Teterboro, for 40 years before retiring in 1997. Mr. Lake was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1302 of Kearny. Born in Harrison, he lived in Kearny before moving to Westampton six months ago. Surviving are a son, Fred J. Jr.; three brothers, George, Henry and Phil; five sisters, Mrs. Audrey Bajkowski, Mrs. Evelyn McMahon, Mrs. Joan Fearns, Mrs. Marilyn Palomski and Mrs. Shirley Duran, and a grandchild.
