Published in The Express Times on June 1, 2017 Easton, PA Frederick E. Raub RIEGELSVILLE Frederick E. Raub, 69, of Riegelsville, PA, passed away Saturday, May 27, in Easton Hospital. He was born March 4, 1948, in Doylestown, PA, a son of the late Lawrence and Margaret Eloise Hollenbach Raub. Fred was a 1966 graduate of Easton High School. He was last employed in property maintenance for the General Lafayette Apartment Complex of Easton and Sanbrook Apartments, Lower Saucon Twp., for about 15 years, retiring in 2013. Prior to that, he owned and operated Raub's Renovations Construction Company for about 10 years and worked as a butcher for Dutch Mill Market, Milford, NJ, for about 15 years. Fred was a life member of the Riegelsville Emergency Squad, where for 12 years he instructed EMT and First Aid classes. He also served on the Riegelsville Recreation Board, the Riegelsville Special Police, was a Little League coach and helped coach a women's softball team. He was a mason, a former member of Masonic Lodge No.567, Riegelsville, and the Bushkill Valley Motorcycle Club. He was known in the neighborhood for doing small engine repairs and his annual yard sales, where every year he vowed that "this is the last one!" He was an avid dog lover. He is survived by his wife, Bev, of 48 years; two children, Lori Crosson (Gary Jr.) and Larry Raub (Nicole Tanzella); five grandsons, Dallas, Dean, Tanner, Riley and Jake; three sisters, Sharon Rinaldi (Tony), Peggy Israel and Bobbi Raub (Jeanne Lavana). He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Raub. A celebration of Fred's life will be held at a later date.
