LAKE
FRIEDL "MRS. ALBERT LOCKHART LAKE", Beloved mother, grandmother and 
great-grandmother was born on December 29, 1922 in Vienna, Austria.  Passed 
away on December 25, 2000.  Preceded in death by her husband.  She is 
survived by her two daughters, Karin Interrante and her husband, Ross and 
Evelyn Sandy and her husband, Kyle; three grandsons, Paul Interrante and his 
wife, Vicki, Alex Interrante and his wife, Melissa and Travis Sandy; 
granddaughter, Caroline Sandy, four great-grandchildren, Emily Interrante 
and Ashley, Allison and Timothy Interrante and two cousins in Vienna, 
Austria, Liesl Bachl and Trude Kress.  She was founder of Lake International 
Travel, founding member and former president of the Austrian Club of Dallas 
and the Dallas Goethe Center and former president of the German American 
Women's Club.  She was director of Texas German Day Council, coordinating 
chairman of the Dallas Committee for Foreign Visitors of the Dallas Council 
on world Affairs.  She was also a 40 year member of the Altar Society of 
Christ the King Catholic Church.  She was a major contributor to 
international understanding and active in promoting and supporting Austrian 
culture, art and music.  Vistitation will begin at 6:30 PM, Thursday, 
December 28 2000 with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, at Restland Memorial 
Chapel.  Private family interment at Restland Memorial Park.  Memorial Mass 
of Christian Burial will be 3:00 PM, Friday, December 29, 2000 at Christ the 
King Catholic Church; 8017 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas  75225, with 
Monsignor Zimmerman officiating.  Honorary pallbearers include Alex, Paul 
and Ross Interrante, Kyle Richard and Travis Sandy, Dr. J. C. Neel, John R. 
Murrell, Karl Kuby, Hermann Boeck, Alfred Laukoter, Teddy Tept and Warren 
Leake.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King 
Catholic Church or the Dallas Goethe Center.
