WOOD RIVER - Gladys F. Oliver, 82, of Wood River, formerly of Gibbon,
died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Good Samaritan Home in Wood River.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shelton Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Godberson Mortuary of Gibbon/Shelton is in
charge of arrangements.

She was born June 2, 1929, in Brookeland, Texas, to John and Emily
(Powell) Lakey.  On Aug. 28, 1945, she married George Oliver in Austin,
Texas. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Randy of Jacksonville, Fla., Mike of Grand
Island, Tim of Shelton, Rusty of Gibbon and John of Minden; daughter,
Kandis Nolan of Reno, Nev.; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
