The Daily Item; Sunbury PA; 2001-7-7 Gladys G. Fillmore, 76, formerly of RR3 Milton, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday July 5, 2001, at Kramms Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milton. She was the wife of the late Warren Fillmore, who died in 1977. She was born Dec. 2, 1924, in Pottsgrove, a daughter of the late Walter G. and Helen (Murray) Lake. She provided transportation for school children and at one time had her own business doing so. She was a member of Chillisquaque Presbyterian Church in Pottsgrove. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and watching wildlife. Beloved mother of John W. Fillmore and his wife Cheryl C. of Northumberland, also survived by seven grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna Laubach and Bonnie Jean Letterman of RR 2 Milton. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Aikey, one grandson, one granddaughter, and one brother. A memorial service will be held at noon Thursday at Chillisquaque Presbyterian Church in Pottsgrove, Route 642, with the Rev. Jim Wilken officiating followed by a graveside service in Harmony Cemetery, Milton. Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service Inc., 125 N. Front St., Milton, is in charge of arrangements.
