Lansing State Journal Lansing MI 13 May, 2002 Campbell, Gladys I. (Guile) Bradenton, Florida Age 95, went home to be with the Lord May 11, 2002. A loving beautiful mom, will be so greatly missed. She was born in Lewiston, MI on November 27, 1906, and lived in Okemos most of her life, before moving to Bradenton in later life. She was a member of Wayside Chapel Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Campbell, former husband, Earl C. Guile, son, Benjamin Guile, stepson, Robert Campbell, sister, Goldie Chaffee and 4 brothers, Ned, Joe, Kenneth and Robert Lake. Surviving are her son, William E. (Susan) Guile of Vassar; daughter, Beverly J. (William) Hagerman of Okemos; daughter-in-law, Mary (Joe) Colandro of Grand Rapids; 2 step-children, James Campbell of FL and Jane Maxwell of Midland; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2:00 PM at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing with the Rev. John A. Kennedy, Pastor of Wayside Chapel Ministries of Mason, officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos. The family will receive friends at the Chapel 1 hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Charity of one's choice in memory of Gladys.
