CHAMPAIGN -- Gladys J. Burrell, 93, of 910 Lincolnshire Drive, C, died at
9:40 a.m. Monday (Feb. 22, 1999) at the Champaign County Nursing Home,
Urbana.

Private entombment will be Wednesday in Mount Hope Mausoleum, Champaign.
Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy, is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Burrell was born Nov. 14, 1905, at Bondville, a daughter of Edward
Harlow and Elva Grace Elwarner Lake.  She married Gaylord E. Burrell.  He
preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Richard E. Burrell of Mount Dora, Fla.; two
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Mrs. Burrell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Champaign,
the Champaign Country Club and the Women of the Moose.
She worked for more than 35 years in the Covenant Resale Shop in Champaign.

Memorial contributions may be made to any hospice care program.
