BARRETT, Gladys May Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, December 14,
2000, in her 84th year. Gladys Laker, beloved wife of Reg Barrett. Dear
mother of Gloria Habart (Ron) of Owen Sound, Stephen (Joy) of Kanata
and Sheila Tremblay (Ron) of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Stacey,
Cindy, Richard, Andrew and Laurie. Sister of Dylis Motte of England
and the late Norman Laker. Gladys will be greatly missed by numerous
nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman
Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt on Sunday from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11
a.m. Cremation. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation or the charity of their choice. A Legion Service
