LAKE, Gladys Viola "Vie" - 80, Bramber, passed away peacefully with
family at her side on Sunday,May 2, 2010, in the Halifax Infirmary,
QEII. Born in Kempt, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Agnes
(Brown) Ross. She is survived by her brothers, Donald and Walter,
both of Cheverie; half-sister, Shirley Rose, Windsor; and many nieces,
nephews and special friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred
"Alfie"; brothers, Earl, Melvin "Bub", Todd, and Bert. A graveside
committal service will be held Thursday, May 6, at 2 p.m. in Bramber
Cemetery, Bramber with Rev. Christine Johnson officating. Donations can
be made to Bramber Cemetery or New Horizons Center, Bramber. A reception
following the service will be held in the New Horizons Center, Bramber.
