On January 27, 2002, GOLDIE ELIZABETH LAKE (Nee Baumes), beloved wife
of the late Raymond Maurice Lake, Sr., loving mother of Virginia
Miles, Edward Lake, William Lake, Ada Sutton, Raymond Lake, Jr.,
Paul Lake, Dianna Leuscher, David I.  Lake, and Margaret Pack; dear
sister of Wilmer Thomas Baumes. Also survived by many grandchildren
and great grandchildren. Mrs Lake rests at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME,
INC, 4107 Wilkens Avenue where friends may call on Wednesday from 3
to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held on Wednesday at 8 P.M. at
the Funeral Home. Interment Baltimore National Cemetery on Friday at 12
P.M. Procession leaving from the Funeral Home at 11:30 A.M.  Published in

Goldie Lake

Catonsville homemaker Goldie Elizabeth Lake succumbed to lung cancer in 
her home on Jan. 27. She was 80 years old.  This Maryland native was 
born on Oct. 18, 1921.

Five sons outlive their mother, David, Edward, William, Raymond and Paul 
Lake; four daughters, Ada Sutton, Virginia Miles, Dianna Leuscher and 
Margaret Peck; plus Wilmer Baumes, her brother.

On Feb. 1, a procession formed at Hubbard Funeral Home Inc.  Mrs. Lake 
was buried in Baltimore National Cemetery.
