LAKE, Gordon - (Veteran of W. W. II, 48th Highlanders of Canada B
Company.  Member of Old Comrades Association.  Member of the R.C.L.
Beaches Branch 42. Retired employee after 35 years with the City of
Toronto)  Passed away at the Toronto East General Hospital on Monday,
May 10, 1999.  Beloved and caring husband and best friend of Audrey
Marie Lake (nee Miller) for 52 years.  Loving father of Donald and his
wife Elaine and Sandra.  Cherished grandpa of Stephanie, Alyssa and
Katie.  Dear brother of Lillian Chapman of Mississauga and Arthur Lake
of Oshawa.  Predeceased by brothers Harry, John and Donald.  Dear
brother-in-law of Inez Lake and Helen Lake.  Friends may call at the
Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Rd., Toronto (west of Victoria Park
Ave.) Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Service in the chapel, Friday 1 p.m.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  As expressions of sympathy,
memorial tributes to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or a
charity of your choice.
