Published in Examiner-Enterprise August 5, 2012 Bartlesville OK Gracie Marion (James) Lumm (1930-2012) Mrs. Gracie Marion Lakey Lumm, 81, died at 7:30 P.M. Thursday at the Nowata Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday in the First Church of God in Nowata, Oklahoma with Pastor Tom Tanquary of First Baptist Church of Delaware, Oklahoma officiating. Interment will be in the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mrs. Lumm may do so to: 10-33 Ambulance Service P.O. Box 815 Nowata, Oklahoma. Gracie Marion Lakey Lumm was born December 27, 1930 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Alvin J. and Julia Ann (Doan) James. She was raised and received her education in Nowata. Gracie married to John Henry Lakey on August 23, 1946 at Fredonia, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 20, 1992. She was later married to Albert Lumm in December 9, 2000. Gracie was employed at Wal-Mart, Buds, and Dollar General all in Nowata and was the first dispatcher and a founding member, of the 10-33 Ambulance Service. Gracie was a member of the First Baptist Church at Delaware, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband Albert Lumm of Nowata; two daughters Phyllis Emery and her husband Johnnie of Foyle, Oklahoma and Ginger Hewitt and her husband Jerry of Nowata, Oklahoma; one step daughter Barbara Winget of Bartlesville; one son John H. Lakey and his wife Ellen of Delaware; one step-son Rick Lumm and his wife Judy of Edgerton, Kansas; two brothers Robert James of Nowata and Gene James of Seattle, Washington; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lumm was also preceded in death by one step-daughter Ruth Hale; two sisters Hazel Lumm and Allene Callison.
