LAKE, Grant Carman - 84, East Walton, passed away on Wednesday, December
31,2008, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in East Walton, he was
a son of the late Levi and Elsie (White) Lake. Grant worked for Dresser
Minerals for a number of years and was an avid horse racing fan. He is
survived by his sons, Norman (Sharry) Lake, Bramber; Murray, East Walton
and daughter, Linda (Tim) Lake, East Walton; seven grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren and brother, Vernon, Mount Uniacke. He was predeceased
by his wife, Catherine; daughter, Joyce Card; grandson, Michael Reed;
sister, Verta Ward and brothers, Aubrey and Blois. Cremation has taken
place with no visitation by request. A graveside committal service
will be held Sunday, January 4, 2009, at 2 p.m. in Tennecape Cemetery,
Tennecape, Rev. Marilyn MacDonald officiating with burial in Tennecape
Cemetery. Donations in memory can be made to Tennecape Cemetery, c/o
