GWANDA LENE JAMES LAKE born June 22, 1922 in Copen, West Virginia,
moved to Heaven January 1, 2006 in Grand Saline, Texas. She was married
March 17, 1946 to George Edward Lake at the Copeland Methodist Church.
She was an active member of the Tri County Baptist Church. Gwanda
was preceded in death by her husband George Edward Lake on January 1,
1986. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law; Charles W. Adams,
Sr., nephew; Jim Davis. She is survived by children; George David Lake
and wife Brenda, Joan Adams Walton and husband Joe, James Edward Lake,
Patricia Ann Williams, sister; Majorie Lenora Davis, 5 grandchildren
and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday,
January 4, 2006 at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at
Brookside Memorial Park.
