Lake, Hannah Bernice

Hannah Bernice Lake passed away after a lengthy illness, on Friday
November 29, 2002. Bernice (née Cook) Lake was in her 85th year. She
was daughter of the late John and Ivy Cook; the beloved wife of Wesley
Allan Lake; dear mother of Margerite Cann (Orville) of Meaford, Allan
Lake (Betty), Keith Lake, all of Wellmans Road, Hugh Lake (Carol)
of R.R. #4, Stirling, Dow Lake (Lynn) of Glen Miller, Wesley Lake
(Sue), Carl Lake all of R.R. #3, Stirling, and Roger Lake (Cathy) of
Stirling. Mrs. Lake was predeceased by her sons James, Harold and Roy
Lake, and by her brothers Harry, Clarence and Stanley Cook. Mrs. Lake will
be lovingly remembered by her 36 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren,
and four great-great-grandchildren.  The funeral service was held at the
Stirling Funeral Chapel, on Monday, December 2, at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Paul
Brownson officiated. Interment followed at Eggleton-Clarke Cemetery. The
pallbearers were all grandsons: Kevin, Mark, Shane, Derek, Doug and
Rob Lake.
