Lake, Harold J.
Harold J. Lake, 90, of Shawnee, Kansas, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 at
Sharon Lane Nursing Center. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday,
May 18 at the Highland Park Funeral Home, 41st & State Avenue Kansas
City, Kansas; burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from
6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Highland Park Funeral Home. Mr. Lake was born
November 21, 1915 in Kingston, Missouri. and had lived in the Kansas
City area for the past 63 years. He was a meat packer for the Wilson
Meat Co. retiring in 1975. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet
M. Lake in 1998 and a daughter, Nancy Conner in 1999. He is survived by
5 daughters; Joyce Kloiber, Linda Lake and Velda K. Hearn all of Kansas
City, Ks, Dorothy Gonzales of Kansas City, Mo. and an estranged daughter,
Myra Lake. 9 grandchildren & 11 greatgrand children. (Arr: Highland Park
