Lake of Harbour Grace, age 57 years. Retired C.E.O. of the Canadian Cancer Society. Predeceased by parents Austin and Margaret. Leaving to mourn wife Shirley; one son Christopher (Jennifer), Upper Gullies; step-mother Meta Lake, St. Luke`s Home, St. John`s; one brother Frank (Linsey), BC; two sisters: Anna (Bob) Perkins and Joan Lake, both of BC; brothers-in-law: Bert (Gertie) Parsons and Wayne (Hazel) Parsons, both of Carbonear and Sam (Carmel) Parsons, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Mary (David) Nicholl, Daphne (Jim) Walsh and Beverley (Dave) Walsh, all of Carbonear; special nephews: Shawn and Aaron Nicholl; also a number of other nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel`s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Saturday, January 15. Mass to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Patrick`s Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H.
