LAKE, Harvey E. Jr. - Of Montrose, age 73, died Tuesday, September 2,
2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11am
Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Montrose Wesleyan Church, Rev.
Michael Stark officiating. Burial at Trout Lake Cemetery. Friends may
call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Friday from
12-9pm and at the church on Saturday from 10am until time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Montrose Wesleyan Church.
Harvey was born March 27, 1935 in Trout Lake, Michigan to the late Harvey
and Dorothy (McMillan) Lake Sr. He had resided in the Montrose area since
1964. Harvey married Beatrice Havens on May 7, 1955. He was employed
with Iron Workers Local #426 for 41 years, retiring in 1993.  He was a
longtime member of the Montrose Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed doing his
church work with young people, cooking, T.V. game shows and political
shows and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are: wife,
Beatrice; children, Ruth (Cliff) Wilhelm, Eddie (Tammy) Lake, Arnold
(Deb) Lake, Douglas (Vickie) Lake, John (Laurie) Lake, Oramel Lake;
11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard Lake; several
nieces and nephews. Harvey was also preceded in death by his brothers and
sisters, Avis, Arvella, Oramel, Averil and Orville.  Please sign our guest
