Hazel Clara Lake

A funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, in Donelson, Sewell &
Mathews Mortuary for Hazel Clara Lake, who died Nov. 8 at age 93. Mrs.
Lake was born May 11, 1906, in Hillsboro. Her maiden name was Rebitzke.
She was a homemaker and lived near Oregon City for many years, returning
to Hillsboro in 1971. She volunteered more than 2,000 hours at Tuality
Community Hospital. In 1941, she married Loyal Lester Lake; he died in
1971.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Celia Rebitzke of Forest Grove; and
nieces and nephews.
Private interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery. The family
suggests remembrances to the Portland VA Medical Center.
