Hazel Virginia King, 89, of Pfafftown died December 3, 2006. She was
born on October 26, 1917, in Yadkin County to the late Arthur and
Dollies Hobson Lakey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, Lawrence Roy King.  Surviving are her sister,
Margaret E. Harrell of Oak Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at Forbush Friends.

PFAFFTOWN - Mrs. Hazel Virginia King, 89, passed away Sunday, Dec. 3,
2006.  She was born on Oct. 26, 1917, in Yadkin County to the late Arthur
and Dollies Hobson Lakey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Lawrence Roy King. Surviving are her sister,
Margaret E. Harrell of Oak Ridge; and several nieces and nephews. Her
graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Forbush
Friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5,
at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the
King family.
