THE HUTCHINSON NEWS ONLINE Hutchinson, KS 18 Feb 1999 Henry H. `Hank' Lake Henry H. "Hank" Lake, 82, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 16, 1999, at Hutchinson Hospital. He was born July 5, 1916, at Leoti, the son of Theodore L. and Mattie Barnes Lake. He was a graduate of Leoti High School. A Hutchinson resident since 1947, he was a driver for Nash-Finch Co. for 22 years. He was a member of Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church and was a United States Army veteran of World War II, in the Pacific Theater. On Dec. 1, 1951, he married Arrena Ginn at Salina. She died Dec. 12, 1998. Survivors include: two brothers, Robert, St. Hedwig, Texas, and Carl, Pueblo, Colo.; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Herbert Lake; seven sisters, infants, Lydia Caroline and Mabel May Lake, Bertha Lake, Nina Williamson, Mattie Barton, Zelma George and Ethel Blender. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Partridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Alan D. Stambaugh presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in the Partridge Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, in care of the mortuary.
