Ialene M. Lake age 85, of Ionia, passed away December 3, 2006 in Grand
Rapids. She was born April 28, 1921 in Keene, Twp. the daughter of
Russell and Lila (Batey) Wells. Ialene married Burton Miles Lake in
September of 1940, he preceded her in death January 5, 1986. She loved
to play bingo.  Ialene is survived by her sons, Dale and Sandra Lake of
Trufant, Larry Lake of Ionia; daughter, Sue McGlamery of Ionia; brothers,
Vernon and Ruth Wells of Ionia, Wayne and Barb Wells of Saranac, Roy and
Crystal Wells of Saranac; sisters, Joyce and Bob Utter of Fenwick, Betty
Adams of Lansing, Bonnie and Jesse Frost of Lake Odessa, Donna and Norm
McKellips of Ionia; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Lake
Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment
Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and relatives
2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may
