Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home chapel in Hebron with Bert Santee officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hebron. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and two hours prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lake was born Dec. 28, 1908, to Theodore and Anna (Ruczek) Folk in Cherry County. She was a retired nurse. She worked at a hospital in Mullen, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln and Thayer County Hospital and Blue Valley Lutheran Homes, both in Hebron. She also was a former rural school teacher in Hooker County. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Fairbury. Survivors are her husband, Eugene; four sons, Kenneth of Denver, Stanley of Bloomfield, Martin of Hebron and Gene of Del Mar, Calif.; one daughter, Myrna Lemon of Berrien Springs, Mich.; one brother, Leonard Folk of Sumter, S.C.; one sister, Ethel (Folk) Patterson of Palo Cedro, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Memorials have been established.
