The Spokesman-Review; Spokane WA; 2007-8-9 & 2007-8-10 LAKE, James C. (Age 81) Passed away August 4, 2007 in Spokane, Washington. He was born April 12, 1926 in Grafton, West Virginia to Dewey and Ida (Wilson) Lake. He left school to enlist in the Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He later worked as a coal miner, for the B&O Railroad and eventually made a career of long haul truck driving. He is survived by his wife;Bernadette Lake; sons, Jamie, Dean and Don Lake; daughter, Ida Hixson; stepchildren, Sid, Harry and Donna; sisters, Joanne, Evelyn, Jay and Marjorie; numerous grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2007 at SPOKANE CREMATION & BURIAL SERVICE, 2832 N. RUBY, SPOKANE WA.
