James Edward "Eddie" Lake, 86, passed away peacefully Sunday, March
17, 2013 at the family Lodge on his Cedar Hill Farm surrounded by
his family.  Preceded in death by his parents Harry Edgar and Janet
(McCall) Lake. He is survived by his wife, Guiana; son, Kevin (Susan)
Lake; grandson, Jonah Bryce Lake; sister, Marion (Russell) Patterson;
niece, Jodi (Bob) Schraedly; nephews, Mark (Linda) and John (Terri)
Patterson. Eddie was a successful investor and avid sportsman but his
greatest joy was being in the outdoors with his hunting dogs and being a
doting grandfather. He enjoyed particularly his time with the St. Louis
Cardinals, under his mentor, St. Louis Cardinal's General Manager Billy
Southworth and winning the Grand American High All Around Clay Target
Championship. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March
24, 2013 with service following at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock
Rd., Westerville, OH. Dr. David Hogg officiating. Private Internment.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be
made to Hospice of Central Ohio in gratitude of their loving care.
