James F LAKE, 64, of Humboldt (KS), passed away Wednesday, Oct 19,
2005 at the Allen County Hospital in Iola KS.  Mr Lake is survived by
a daughter, Kelly McPHAIL, of Overbrook KS.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Mon, Oct 24, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel
Chapel, Humboldt KS with Pastor Debby Dick officiating.  Burial will
follow in Mt Hope Cemetery.  Mr Lake will lie in state on Sun, Oct 23,
2005 from 12:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.  Penwell-Gabel Humboldt
Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
