James Lake Jr.
Harpers Ferry - James "Bo" Lake Jr., 38 of Bolivar, died Sunday, Feb. 16,
2003, at his residence.  Born Aug. 25, 1964, in Ranson, he was the
son of James S. Lake Sr. and Mabel Stokes Lake Clemons.  He has been
employed for the past 17 years with Montgomery County, Md.  He attended
the Bolivar Pentecostal Church. He was a member of the United Food &
Commercial Workers International Union Local 400, Gaithersburg, Md.
He leaves his mother, Mabel Stokes Lake Clemons, of Bolviar; wife Doris
Ann Lake, at home; two stepdaughters, Chasity Madison, of Hopewell,
N.C., and Melissa Madison, of Petersburg, Va.; two stepsons, David
Lee Madison, of Martinsburg, and Jamey Scott Madison, of Charles Town;
fivesisters Janice Lake, of Everett, Pa., and Lori Nave, of  Bolivar;
two brothers, Gary Lake, Damasus, Md., and Rickey Lake, of Inwood; 11
stepgrandchildren; three uncles; five aunts; and numerous nieces and
nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb.22, 2003, at the Eackles-Spencer Funeral
Home Harpers Ferry, with the Rev. B.G. Turner officiating, Interment
will be in the Fairview Lutheran Cemetery, Bolivar.  The family will
receive friends from 7 to 9 p. m. Friday, at the funeral home.

James "Bo" Lake Jr.

James "Bo" Lake Jr., 38, of Bolivar, W.Va., died Feb. 16 at his residence
in Bolivar. He was the husband of Doris Ann Lake.

He was born Aug. 25, 1964, in Ranson, W.Va., to Mable Stokes Lake Clemons
and the late James S. Lake Sr.

He worked for Montgomery County for the past 17 years.

He attended the Bolivar Pentecostal Church. He was a member of the
United Food and Commercial Workers International Union Local No. 400
in Gaithersburg.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mable Stokes
Lake Clemons of Bolivar, W.Va.; two stepdaughters, Chasity Madison of
Hopewell, N.C. and Melissa Madison of Petersburg, Va.; two stepsons,
David Lee Madison of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Jamey Scott Madison of
Charles Town, W.Va.; five sisters, Janice Lake of Everett, Pa., Linda
Livengood of Martinsburg, W. Va., Teresa Seal of Kearneysville, W. Va.,
Pamela Rhodes of Everett, Pa., and Lori Nave of Bolivar, W. Va.; two
brothers, Gary Lake of Damascus and Rickey Lake of Inwood, W.Va.; 11
step-grandchildren; three uncles; five aunts; and numerous nieces and
nephews. His father preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday. Officiating was the Rev. B.G.
Turner. Burial was in Fairview Lutheran Cemetery in Bolivar, W.Va.
