Born in Morristown, she lived in Morris Plains for 55 years. She was a graduate of the Bayley High School, Morristown. Janet was a secretary at Warner Lambert for 20 years. She was an active parishioner at St. Virgil's Church, Morris Plains for 55 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Janet is predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and two daughters, Deborah Wurzer and Beverly Fisher. She is survived by her six children, Janet Sullivan and husband, James of Kennett Square, PA, Joseph and wife, Joan of Randolph, Sharon Ritter of Morristown, Jeffrey and wife, Eileen of Denville, Robert and wife, Carolyn of Morris Plains and William Lake of Wharton. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Thompson and wife, Betty of Leesville, SC and "NANNY" to many special others. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Virgil's Church, Morris Plains on Friday at 10:00AM. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Hours of visitation at the Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
