Beloved husband of 53 years of Jean Dafoe U.E. Born in Oakwood, Ontario, son of the late Marshall and Amey Lake (Anderson). Survived by his sister Jean Workman (Jack) of Barrie and brother Donald Lake of Torrance, California. Predeceased by brother James Lake, sister Marjorie and Helen Lake and Clare Lathangue. Brother in law of Marion Dafoe and Conrad Dafoe (Merle) all of Peterborough. Uncle of John (Marion) Lake of Lindsay, Franklin (Gaye) Lake of Lindsay, Karen Ennis (Bernard) of Barrie, Cathy Reeves (Doug) of Toronto, Jim Dafoe (Camilla) of Woodview, Ronald Dafoe (Margie) of Chester, N.S., Ivan Dafoe (Heather) of Bridgenorth, Dale Rodger of Peterborough, Diane Dafoe of Peterborough, Warden Dafoe (Sue) of Whitby, Brenda Donnelly of Peterborough, Bryan Dafoe (Karen) of Mount Pleasant and Sharon Dafoe of Richmond Hill. Also survived by nineteen great nieces and nephews. Jarvis was an avid golfer and member of the Kawartha Golf and County Club for fifty years. The family will receive friends at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Road South on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2002 at 1 p.m. in the Nisbett Chapel.
