NORTH TONAWANDA -
Tech Sgt. Jason B. Lake, 33, of O'Fallon, IL (formerly of North Tonawanda,
NY) passed away suddenly while visiting his parents, December 23,
2013 in Florida. He was born in Amherst, NY and was a Journalist in
Public Affairs in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Scott AFB in
Illinois. He loved photography, spending time with his family, trying new
restaurants, shopping, also reading and debating politics and history.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Steele, in April of
2013. He is survived by his wife, Reiko; daughters, Rose and Jasmine;
his parents, Laurie and Dexter Lake, Jr.; his brother, Christopher;
his mother and father-in-law, Nobuko and Osamu Nakao; sister-in-law,
Rieko Nakao; and grandmothers-in-law, Tsuta Nakao and Michiko Ito.
Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests donations be made to the Autism Foundation and the Wounded
