Mrs. Patton was born Sept. 16, 1939, in Omaha, Neb., to Orville and Helen Stubbs Lake. She was a 1957 graduate of Kirkwood High School and worked for Schnuck's grocery store in Wildwood before moving to Columbia in November 2002. Mrs. Patton was a supporter of the arts, especially the theater. She is survived by one sister, Suzanne Scogin of Jackson, Ala.; two daughters, Tracy Baden of Lawrence, Kan., and Kristen Nordstrom of New York; and two grandchildren. Her parents died earlier.
