GARLAND (Lake), Jean Elizabeth - 76 of Beaver Bank, passed away peacefully
at home on April 25, 2012. Born in Fox River, Jean spent her teen years
in Westphal. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Cindy Stevens,
of Lower Sackville; son, John Garland (Laura) of Lower Sackville and
her grandchildren, Ashton Stevens and Joshua Stevens, both of Lower
Sackville. Predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" and her son, Albert
(Bunny). Jean worked many dedicated years at Sackville Superstore. Jean
loved spending her time with her family but some of her other many
interests included gardening, birds and other animals and reading
many books per week. A celebration of her life will be held on May 2,
Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. in Sackville Lions Hall, 101 Old Beaverbank
Rd. Cremation is under the direction of Cole Harbour Funeral Home &
Crematorium. Burial will be held at a later date in Fox River, Holy
Trinity Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in
Jean's name to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any animal
