Nov 10, 1928 - Sept 30, 2012 GARDNERVILLE, NV Jeanneane Lake was
born in Ninnekah, OK to Vernon E. "Judge" Thornton and Kathryn "Katy"
Marshall Thornton, graduated Ninnekah High School in 1946, and attended
Oklahome College for Women in Chickasha, OK. She married Jack Lake
on March 4, 1949, and lived and worked in Oklahoma City and Duncan,
OK before moving to Merced, CA in 1964, then to South Lake Tahoe,
CA in 1972, and Carson Valley, NV in 1975. She was preceded in death
by her parents; two sisters; and son, Carl Dean Lake. She is survived
by husband of 63 years, Jack Lake; two daughters, five grandchildren,
and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, 13 October 2012
at Fitzhenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, 1380 HW 395, Gardnerville,
NV. Burial will follow at the Genoa Cemetery, Genoa, NV.
