Jeannette L. Lake, 83, of Peoria passed away at 1:45 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 23,
1015 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born March 19.1932 in Peoria,
she was the daughter of the late Franklin Carpenter and Sue M Green Carpenter
Hale. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Al Hale. On 10/7/1950,
Jeannette married Robert B. Lake in Peoria. She was a homemaker and member
of St. Philomena Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert of
Peoria, 3 children: Susan M (Steven) Schulzki of Morton IL, Kathleen (Bruce
Monroe) Lake of Springfield IL, and Robert B (Nancy) Lake of Washington IL:
4 grandchildren - Kyle and Kim Lake of Washington, Erin and Emily Monroe
of Springfield; one brother, William (Pat) Carpenter of Galesburg and
numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
3 sisters and one brother.
