SHAW, Jessie May - 88, Grey Street, Windsor, died June 15, 2000, in
Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on October 11, 1911, in Bramber,
Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Edwin Lake and Gertrude
(Selby) Lake. She was a member of the Anglican Church. Surviving are her
son, William Shaw, Brossard, Que.; two grandchildren; two
great-granddaughters; sisters, Mona Sweet, Windsor; Minnie Lake,
Windsor; Hannah Burgess, London, Ont. She was predeceased by her
husband, Aubrey Shaw; brothers, Victor, Edwin; sisters, Gladys Lake,
Mildred Lake. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or funeral
service by request. Committal service 10 a.m. today, June 19, in
Maplewood Cemetery, Rev. Curry officiating. Donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lohnes-Beazley Funeral
Service Ltd., Windsor.
