Saturday, May 9, 2009, The Oakland Press, Pontiac, Michigan USA, Page A-6: LAKE, Jill Ann; age 66; of Kalkaska, previously of Clarkston; passed away on May 7, 2009, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born on July 24, 1942, to the late Gellett Emerson and Shirley (Dryer) Miller in Todedo, OH. Jill married John Russell Lake on February 8, 1969, in Pontiac. She was a surgical nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Pontiac. Jill loved being outdoors and enjoying nature. She loved horseback riding, waterskiing and boating. Jill also liked to paint and to go bowling. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family. Jill will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her dear husband of 40 years, John; her wonderful son, Christopher Lake of Owosso; and her precious grandson Nicholas Lake of Owosso. Visitation for Jill will be held Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral Service will be on Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Barbara Hoig, Munson Hospice Chaplin officiating.
