SWARTMAN-LAKE, Joan Beverley - November 13, 1937 - August 11, 2004. It
is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of
Joan in her 66th year on Wednesday August 11, 2004, while vacationing
in Nova Scotia. Loving mother of sons Steven and Roderick and daughter
Kerri. Sister of Ronald and Marilyn. Grandmother of Andy, Sarah and
Nathaniel. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family
and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Association would
be greatly appreciated. As Joan has said, ''life may not be the party we
hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.'' Celebration of
