Hamilton Journal News (OH), Friday, December 20, 2002 - Joan C. Hall Joan C. Hall, age 72, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday December 18, 2002, at Hospice of Dayton. Joan was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and studied voice and drama at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She was a respected antiques dealer in the Dayton Area for many years and was the proprietor of her own antique shop for several of those years, besides maintaining a lifelong interest in gardening. Most importantly, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Gertrude Lake. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James M. Hall; five children: her daughter, Melanie Patrick and husband Robert of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Sydney Jane Hall of Rochester Hills, Michigan; her son, James Vernon Hall and wife Linda of Washington Township; daughter Julie Ann Hall of Kettering and daughter, Mary Carol Hall of Washington Township; five grandchildren, Christina Rush and Shaun, Brandon, Joseph and James Hall; three sisters, Eloise Tenbusch and husband George, Sandra Beer and Margot Howard, as well as a brother-in-law, Jerry Hall and wife Donna and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 244 Dayton Street, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, December 21, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home, Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, at Rahn Road, on Friday evening December 20, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday. Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Joan's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Drs.
