Joanne Marie Lake    Sept. 12, 1945 - Nov. 24, 2002
Joanne Marie Lake of Madras died Sunday of natural causes. She was 57. 
A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Bel-Air
Colonial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at
St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Madras.  Mrs. Lake was born Sept. 12,
1945, in Waukegan, Ill, to Francis and Audree (Walton Zalewski. She
married Gerald Lake on Sept. 2, 1967, in San Jose, Calif.  She was
a homemaker. Mrs. Lake was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She enjoyed writing poetry and music. Mrs. Lake won an International
Library of Poets award.  Survivors include her parents of Madras;
one brother, Thomas Zalewski of Anacortes, Wash.; and one sister,
Barbara Williams of Madras.  She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
