Aged Peebles Man Expires Monday

John Asher Lake, 84, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at the home of a daughter,
Mrs. Geneva Chenoweth at Peebles.  He had been ill for some time and
death was attributed to complications.

He is survived by three sons, Firman and James of Lebanon and Hugh of
Hawesburg and four daughters, Mrs. Chenoweth, Mrs. Dorothy Jones of
Lebanon, Mrs. Cecil Jones of Wilmington and Mrs. Okie Parr of New Vienna.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Trefz funeral home, Thursday
afternoon at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
