Lake, John David

Funeral for John David Lake, 78, of Pleasant Grove, Ala., will be Sunday,
Sept. 25, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Brown Service West Chapel in Hueytown, with
the Rev. Jerry Sherrill and Dr. Randall Ingram officiating.  Burial will
be in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to
8 at the funeral home.  Mr. Lake, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 22,
2005, was retired from A & P Tea Co. and Hills Food Center in Pleasant
Grove, and a member of Cottage Hills Baptist Church. He was a native of
Morgan County. His parents, Connie and Zelma Lake preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Mildred Lake; one son, James (Karen) Lake;
two grandchildren, David and Lindsey Lake; one brother, Floyd Lake
(Rose); and two sisters, Faye Bankston (Charles) and Betty Gassaway.
