John F. Lake

  John F. Lake, 83, of Sedona, died at his home in Flathead Lake, Mont.,
on July 29.

  Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Lake married Eileen Goard on Oct. 23,
1943.  He joined the Army Air Corps during World War II and served as
a pilot in the European Theatre.  He continued his flying career as a
pilot with Delta Airlines for 31 years.

  Preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Lake, Mr. Lake is survived
by his wife, Eileen of Sedona; his daughter, Debbie Groat, of Sedona;
son Steve Lake of Portland, Ore.; and granddaughter Emily Tegman, also
of Sedona.

  Memorial Services will be held at 3 p. m. Saturday, Aug. 18 in Wayside
Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Roberts officiating.

  The family requests no flowers.
